Describe the bug / provide steps to reproduce it

1. open a file, Do not do anything else
2. close the app
3. start the app, wait for that file to load, DO not do anything else
4. close the app
5. start the app
6. try typing inside the file

Actual Behaviour

Typing blocked, I type, nothing is printed, zero. to fix I have to close and reopen the file
