Are we really adding word by word like this? Is there no way to do light NLP and/or something like levenshtein distance
to catch more issues? I just installed it to use it in neovim and I noticed alot of issues slip through.

well, nevermind. I just read the README. It looks like the entire point of the project is not to do that. I'll show myself out.

There shouldn't be anything to stop you generating alternative/additional dictionaries using those techniques and just using Codespell to search for issues they find/fix those issues though @bluebrown .

But I'll hide this as OT too...!
